Join us at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk, the number one walk in the country raising awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The walk plays a key role in funding Best Buddies programs dedicated to one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and integrated job opportunities for individuals with IDD.
The Best Buddies high school chapter at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas — selected from several Best Buddies high school programs throughout the world — was presented with the 2017-2018 Overall Outstanding Chapter Award at Best Buddies International’s 29th Annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference: This Is Me.
Together, Best Buddies International and Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first theme park designed with special-needs individuals in mind, are making a difference. Best Buddies at Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio is now open to new participants!
Anna Fedewa, CP at Seven Lakes HS, was working on clean up like most Houstonians after Harvey made landfall a few weeks back when she received a phone call from a chapter officer that was volunteering at one of the local shelters Sunday in their area.
