NDEAM – National Disability Employment Awareness Month

If you’re interested in promoting inclusive hiring, celebrating disability awareness, or bringing Best Buddies’ mission into your workplace, now is the perfect time! We’re looking for partners to host disability trainings throughout October, virtually or in person.
Parent and Sibling Transition ARD Workshop

Description:
It’s never too early to start preparing for your loved one’s Transition ARD. In the state of Texas, the Transition ARD typically takes place when students are 14-years-old, however, it’s never too early to start the conversation.
Learn tips, tricks, and lived experiences from two local Transition experts: Lenae Anderson with Frisco ISD’s post-graduation program, ASPIRE, and Linda Bonner, celebrated author and parent to a young man with Down syndrome.
