Join Best Buddies in Texas for fun monthly activities! These activities are free and open to all Best Buddies program participants unless the event specifically says it is for a particular group.
Virtual events will be held over Zoom. To join an activity, RSVP below, and the link and password will be sent before the event.

Citizens Virtual Social Hour – April 2026

Description:
Join NTX Citizens for a virtual social hour on the first Friday of every month! (Rescheduled from April 3rd due to holiday).
We’ll pick a different topic each time we meet, and chat away while enjoying our lunch breaks. Stay for the whole time, or come and go as you please – “cameras on” not required. Hope to see you there!

Funds raised through the Friendship Walk benefit Best Buddies – the largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Programs empower people with IDD to form friendships, secure jobs, improve communication and advocacy skills, and live independently, while also supporting their families.

Location: Frisco YMCA
Who: North Texas school-based chapter members
Description:
Adaptive Group Fitness Class, Hosted by the YMCA – A simple, fun dance cardio class for all levels. Dance your way to fitness with easy-to-follow moves and big fun!
Participants should wear comfortable exercise attire and tennis shoes, and don’t forget a water bottle. We also recommend arriving a few minutes early before class to sign waivers.
