The first buddy comedy movie starring two actors with Down syndrome is being planned by Fort Worth-based Out of Order Studios.

Savannah Guthrie, who’s an ambassador for the amazing Best Buddies nonprofit, spoke Thursday at the organization’s Party for a Purpose event and caught up with her buddy, Tara.

Hundreds of people from across the United States and beyond have gathered at the Best Buddies Leadership Conference at Indiana University to celebrate friendship and promote inclusivity in schools and communities.
