From Radio to TV: Ambassador Ryan Falcon Takes DFW by Storm for Best Buddies

Local Ambassador Ryan Falcon and his guide dog Balto are on a media frenzy as they hit every screen across the DFW Metroplex showing that Best Buddies belong in every home.
When Best Buddies Texas Local Ambassador Ryan Falcon sets his mind to something, the whole Metroplex is going to watch him conquer his mission.
Ryan, alongside his guide dog Balto, has been on a media blitz across the DFW area, bringing the mission of Best Buddies Texas to new audiences. His goal is simple and bold: make Best Buddies a household name.

It started with a longform radio interview on iHeart Radio, where Ryan joined Best Buddies Texas Communications Manager Kaeli Magill and Anna De Haro for an in-depth conversation about what Best Buddies means, the power of inclusive friendship, and what the organization is doing right here in Texas. Ryan’s authenticity and passion for the cause came through loud and clear to listeners across the region.

But Ryan wasn’t done. Riding that momentum straight into the week of the Best Buddies Walk, he made his television debut on a live segment at WFAA, one of DFW’s most-watched news stations. There, he shared the real impact Best Buddies has on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and gave viewers a reason to show up and walk alongside their community.
Heading to his second media appearance, Ryan summed up his experience perfectly: “I’m killin’ it, I’m killin’ it.”
And he is. The confidence, energy, and joy Ryan brings to every platform is exactly what Best Buddies has to offer. Best Buddies create opportunities for everyone and ambassadors like Ryan is a prime example.
We are beyond honored to have Ryan representing Best Buddies Texas across the Metroplex. His voice, his story, and his spirit are spreading inclusion in ways that go far beyond any single event.
