On March 21st, 2025, Best Buddies had the privilege of teaming up with our incredible partners at Giant Eagle for an inspiring Ambassador Training session centered around the “Spread the Word” initiative. This important training was designed to empower our ambassadors, equipping them with the skills to create and deliver powerful messages that raise awareness about the critical importance of kindness, inclusion, and friendship. The goal was not only to help them understand the significance of these values but also to give them the tools to spread these values far and wide.

With the expert guidance of speech coaches from Giant Eagle, each Ambassador was given the opportunity to develop and refine their public speaking abilities. Through tailored coaching, they learned how to craft speeches that would resonate deeply with their audiences, enabling them to share their personal stories and advocate for the values of inclusion and respect that are so integral to the Best Buddies mission. This training session offered participants the chance to not only enhance their leadership skills but also become more confident and effective advocates for the causes they care about.

The session itself was filled with meaningful conversations, a palpable sense of excitement, and a genuine connection among all involved. It was heartwarming to see the ambassadors working together to create messages that would inspire others to take action and promote a more inclusive environment. The day served as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of words—how the right message, delivered with passion and authenticity, can bring about positive change and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
