On June 1, 2026, Best Buddies Panama welcomed more than 550 guests to the Pearl Ballroom at the Union Club in Panama City for its annual Inclusion Bingo fundraiser. The evening brought together families, supporters, community leaders, and advocates in celebration of friendship, inclusion, and opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
A Night of Community, Connection, and Impact
While the excitement of bingo filled the room, the true purpose of the evening extended far beyond the games. The fundraiser raised critical support for Best Buddies Panama programs, helping create opportunities for individuals with and without IDD to build meaningful friendships, develop leadership skills, and experience greater inclusion in their communities.
Throughout the evening, guests shared laughter, stories, and a collective commitment to building a more inclusive society. Families, friends, volunteers, and supporters came together to celebrate the impact of inclusion and the power of belonging.
As one attendee, Vivian Fernández de Torrijos, reflected:
