Twins able to live independently through new Best Buddies Living program

Best Buddies Living is helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain the skills and confidence needed to live more independently. Through the program, twins Nathaniel and Austin Lewin are living in their own apartment for the first time, learning responsibilities such as cooking, commuting to work, and managing daily life. With support from residential staff, participants develop problem-solving and independent living skills while building fulfilling lives in their communities. The long-term goal is to empower residents to live successfully on their own with greater confidence and self-sufficiency.
