Best Buddies Citizens Program
The Best Buddies Citizens program pairs an adult with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) in a one-to-one friendship with an adult without IDD from their local community.

Through the program, these two adults—called a buddy pair—develop a mutually enriching friendship, experience life together, and support each other when it’s needed most.

The program also welcomes individuals with and without disabilities who are looking for group social outings in inclusive settings. We also offer two virtual opportunities each month.

Current Best Buddies Citizens chapters include:

• Greater Boston
• Greater Worcester
• South Shore / Cape Cod
• Western Massachusetts
• Rhode Island

These events are only open to individuals with active Citizens memberships. A background check is required. Members with an approved application will receive the full list of event dates and details.
