Announcing Best Buddies Travel: Connecting Through Inclusive Travel Experiences
We are excited to officially announce the launch of Best Buddies International Travel, a new program designed to create inclusive, supported travel experiences that bring people together, build confidence, and create lifelong friendships through shared travel opportunities.

Pre-Trip Programming & Support
A key part of Best Buddies Travel is the pre-trip programming and support provided to all travelers. Prior to each trip, participants take part in virtual sessions designed to help them prepare, meet fellow travelers, and feel confident and excited about the experience ahead.
Pre-trip programming includes:
- Virtual meet-and-greets with fellow travelers and staff
- Travel preparation and packing guidance
- Itinerary and activity previews
- Social and communication skill building
- Travel safety and independence tips
- Setting personal goals for the trip
These sessions help travelers build relationships before the trip even begins, making the experience more comfortable, supportive, and fun from day one.
A Successful First Trip – March Cruise
From March 16–20, Best Buddies Travel hosted its first official trip aboard the Wonder of the Seas, and it was an incredible success.
Travelers spent five days enjoying group dinners, onboard activities, social time, and exploring the ship together while building meaningful friendships and unforgettable memories. The trip truly showcased what Best Buddies Travel is all about: inclusion, independence, friendship, and new experiences.

Upcoming Best Buddies Travel Trips
We are excited to announce several upcoming Best Buddies Travel experiences. The cost for upcoming trips is $2,500 per person, which includes program support, pre-trip programming, accommodations, planned activities, and staff support throughout the trip.
Boston & Hyannis Port, Massachusetts
May 28 – June 1 travelers will spend time exploring historic Boston, visiting popular sites, enjoying group dinners and activities, and then travel to Hyannis Port on Cape Cod for the Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port weekend. Travelers will be part of the energy and excitement of Challenge weekend while connecting with participants from across the country.
Miami & Royal Caribbean Youth Cruise
June 7 – June 12 travelers will head to Miami for a night in the city before setting sail on a fun-filled youth cruise with Royal Caribbean. The trip will include time exploring Miami, a group dinner, and social activities before boarding the cruise together. While on the cruise, travelers will enjoy onboard activities, entertainment, group meals, and time to relax and connect with new friends. This trip is designed to be a fun, social travel experience that helps participants build friendships, gain confidence, and experience travel in a supportive group environment.
