MIAMI (WSVN) – Some of Best Buddies’ best buddies took over the streets of Downtown Miami, as they went on a fun-filled walk for a good cause, Saturday morning.
It was a picture perfect day for a stroll for a few thousand friends along Bayfront Park to raise money and awareness for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Under the Friday night lights of Harvard Stadium, a football game finished with a final score of 112-112, but the final score didn’t matter much to the athletes competing on the field. It was all smiles throughout the game, and though competitive, the football game was about much more than a win, loss or tie.

The event will be co-hosted by Best Buddies Founder, Chairman & CEO Anthony K. Shriver and Founder, The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, Maria Shriver. The event will take place Saturday, May 11, in Malibu, California.
