Lily Thompson

Lily Thompson has been an integral part of the Best Buddies team since 2015. With a degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Lily specializes in providing emotional and practical support to families navigating the challenges associated with IDD. As the Senior Family Support Coordinator, she is responsible for developing and implementing support programs that address the unique needs of each family. Lily is known for her compassionate approach and her ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone she works with. She is particularly interested in the intersection of mental health and disability services and is currently pursuing a certification in trauma-informed care. When not at work, Lily enjoys yoga, reading mystery novels, and exploring new coffee shops around town.
