Elena Martinez

Elena Martinez joined Best Buddies in 2020, bringing with her a passion for advocacy and a strong background in family services. With a degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton, Elena has dedicated her career to supporting families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a Family Resource Coordinator, she is responsible for connecting families with the resources they need, from educational materials to support groups. Elena is known for her problem-solving skills and her ability to make every family feel heard and supported. In her role, she particularly enjoys organizing community events that bring families together. Outside of work, Elena enjoys gardening, practicing yoga, and volunteering at a local food bank.
