Numerous studies have shown that active video games may be useful for promoting physical activity for therapeutic uses, including for balance, rehabilitation, and management of illness or disease. However, not many studies have shown what the social outcomes are when people with disabilities play video games for leisure.
Bowling, grabbing a bite to eat, or going to Movie Monday at Ballpark Village are all activities that students are enjoying while participating in the one-to-one friendship program, Best Buddies.
