The first of a two-part series designed to provide individuals with or without intellectual and developmental disabilities with the skills needed to be Best Buddies Ambassadors. This training will focus on telling your story as it relates to disability awareness, advocacy, inclusion, and Best Buddies. This training is open to existing Ambassadors and folks aged 14 and up interested in getting started in the leadership and advocacy field. No experience required. We are also looking for volunteers to register as speech coaches. These individuals will assist ambassadors in crafting and writing their stories. Breakfast and light refreshments will be served. Part two of this training will focus on public speaking and will be offered at a later date.Additional details will be sent out after registration at a later date.
