PLAN (Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc.) a 501(c)3 nonprofit can offer your family support through the administration of a Special Needs Trust. Many people incorrectly assume that trusts are for families of significant means, but the reality is that a special needs trust can be an important part of securing the future of an individual of different abilities, regardless of the family’s wealth.

PLAN has been helping families since the late 1960s. They are professional trustees whose mission is to help disabled people preserve assets, protect access to public benefits and helping your loved one achieve a high quality of life. Each beneficiary is assigned a Service Coordinator, who is a Licensed Social Worker, for the life of the trust. These individuals have extensive experience with all types of disabilities and all ages. They will work with beneficiaries to address day-to-day and long-term needs to be met by the trust.

Proper planning for the future creates peace of mind. It enables a beneficiary to preserve their public benefits, supplement their needs and have the means to maintain a comfortable, healthy, and fulfilling life.
