This August, Best Buddies MA and RI had a team run for the Falmouth Road Race in Cape Cod, MA. Thirty-five people came out on a summer Sunday and ran 7 miles in honor of Best Buddies. They also spent the spring and summer fundraising to be on the team. Our team was made up of people from our different programs, including ambassadors, citizens, school chapters, community supporters, and 4 staff members. Family and friends cheered on the runners at the Black Dog Cafe right before the finish line. The day was a huge success!

One of our runners was MA/RI ambassador, Jake Q.! He ran with his cousin, Matt, as his guide and his friend from college, Ana, as a training buddy. Together, they took on the hills and heat and crossed the finish line with smiles!
