Doctor and Race Car Driver Kevin Stadtlander to Race at F1 Miami Weekend in Support of Best Buddies International

Miami, FL – April 30, 2026 – Florida physician and race car driver Dr. Kevin Stadtlander will take to the track this weekend during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix as part of Porsche Carrera Cup North America, racing in support of Best Buddies International, a global nonprofit dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through programs focused on friendship, employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support.
Stadtlander, a seasoned competitor with more than 40 years of racing experience, will drive the No. 60 Porsche for JDX Racing and Byers Auto Group in the Solairus Aviation Masters class. His racing career spans decades of competition across many championships, and this year he will race the full season Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
Outside of Racing, Stadtlander specializes in minimally invasive image-guided surgical procedures, treating vascular disease, women's health issues, as well as performing complex interventions for transplant and cancer patients.
During the 2026 racing season, Stadtlander is proudly supporting Best Buddies International, carrying the organization’s branding on his car to raise awareness and funding for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“After years of participating in and cycling hundreds of miles in the Best Buddies Challenge: Miami, I’m proud to bring that commitment from two wheels to four,” said Stadtlander. “I’m excited to partner with Best Buddies and support the incredible work they do for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the world. It’s an honor to carry the Best Buddies logo on my car at my home track in Miami during Formula 1 weekend.”
“This partnership is a powerful example of how passion and purpose can come together to create real impact,” said Anthony K. Shriver, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Best Buddies International. “Kevin’s commitment to our mission both on and off the track helps shine a spotlight on the abilities and potential of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while inspiring others to get involved and make a difference.”
Joining this racing partnership is the Leonard and Diane Arabia Charitable Foundation. While Leonard built his business career, Diane focused on raising their children and giving back through charitable work, including the Dream Come True Fund for children with terminal illnesses. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2015, Diane underwent two years of treatment before passing in 2017. One of her final wishes was for her family to continue helping children and young adults in need. In honor of that wish, Leonard and their children established the Leonard and Diane Arabia Charitable Trust to carry forward her legacy.
