Bloomington, IN — July 31, 2025 — From July 18–21, 2025, more than 2,400 student leaders, volunteers, and advocates from across the globe came together at Indiana University for the annual Best Buddies International Leadership Conference.

Best Buddies International is excited to announce the Ed Ansin Best Buddies Friendship Walk: Miami on April 5th at loanDepot Park, the home of the Miami Marlins. With nearly 50,000 participants at more than 70 walks across the globe, the Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for the IDD community.
Over the weekend, thousands of Best Buddies participants from around the world convened at Indiana University for the Best Buddies Leadership Conference. For many, this isn’t just a conference — it’s a reunion.
A new fundraising initiative that brings together a passion for golf and a commitment to creating opportunities for individuals with IDD.
Nearly 2,800 global leaders will gather July 17–20 at the 2026 Best Buddies Leadership Conference, where the theme "One Team, One World" celebrates friendship, leadership, and inclusion through inspiring speakers, training, and shared experiences.
