MIAMI (WSVN) – Some of Best Buddies’ best buddies took over the streets of Downtown Miami, as they went on a fun-filled walk for a good cause, Saturday morning.
It was a picture perfect day for a stroll for a few thousand friends along Bayfront Park to raise money and awareness for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
The Best Buddies Friendship Walk celebrates the many relationships made and the jobs found for those in the community with special needs.

Best Buddies International is excited to announce the Ed Ansin Best Buddies Friendship Walk: Miami on April 5th at loanDepot Park, the home of the Miami Marlins. With nearly 50,000 participants at more than 70 walks across the globe, the Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for the IDD community.
Special Olympics, Best Buddies International and supporters from around the world will unite on Wednesday, March 6th for the annual Spread the Word Day.
Working to make Springfield more inclusive, Best Buddies held their Friendship Walk at Lincoln Land Community College. The event serves as a way to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build friendships and find jobs.
