Utah Best Buddies Friendship Walk: 2026 Edition

The Best Buddies Utah Friendship Walk, presented by Best Buddies International, took place at Bingham Creek Regional Park, a perfect backdrop for a day centered on connection, inclusion, and community celebration.
From the moment the event began, the park steadily filled with energy as participants, families, and supporters gathered and the celebration naturally grew throughout the day. The space was alive with activity where you could find balloon art, face painting, kite flying across the open sky, real-life character performers, plus hands-on friendship bracelet making and coloring stations that gave attendees a chance to slow down, create, and connect in meaningful ways. Together, these activities kept the atmosphere fun, welcoming, and engaging for all ages.
The Utah community came together to raise an incredible $22,971.88, with every participant, donor, and supporter contributing to the impact. That total reflects the shared effort behind the event and the continued commitment to Best Buddies programs across the state.

Fundraising highlights included the University of Utah as the Top Fundraising Team, contributing just over $250 and showing strong student engagement and school spirit throughout the walk. On the corporate side, Sephora led as the Top Corporate Team, raising an impressive $19,669.44 and playing a major role in the event’s overall success.
The day was also strengthened by the support of the Miss Utah Organization, whose volunteers helped bring energy to event activities, support participants, and contribute to the welcoming and celebratory environment throughout the park.
Sponsors and community partners helped round out the experience, making it possible to offer a wide range of interactive and engaging activities that kept the day feeling dynamic, inclusive, and fun from start to finish.
More than anything, the Friendship Walk reflected the mission of Best Buddies International, creating spaces where people can show up, connect, and celebrate inclusion together. The day at Bingham Creek Regional Park left behind more than just a fundraising total; it left behind moments of joy, creativity, and community connection that will carry forward well beyond the event.
