Join Best Buddies in Minnesota for fun monthly activities! These activities are free and open to all Best Buddies program participants unless the event specifically says it is for a particular group.
Virtual events will be held over Zoom. To join an activity, RSVP below, and the link and password will be sent before the event.

Citizens Concert in the Park
Date: Monday, June 2nd
Time: 7:00 to 8:00pm

Who: Twin Cities Citizens participants
Description:
Join us for a FREE concert in the park! Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early so you can find parking and meet up with our group. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on if you wish. Owatonna Summer Picnic

Description:
Join us for a community picnic on Tuesday, June 10th from 4:00 to 6:00pm to celebrate inclusion! Food and drinks will be provided, as well as games and activities for you to socialize with your buddy/meet your buddy’s family. Please RSVP by Thursday, June 5th.
Unlocking Your Potential: Discovering Identity, Disability Awareness, and Goals

Who: BBMN participants ages 14+
Description:
Join us for our new Leadership Development workshop series!
Unlocking Your Potential: Discovering Identity, Disability Awareness, and Goals is a great chance to learn more about who you are and how to better understand others. Through fun activities and meaningful conversations, you will:
- Go on a journey of self-discovery to learn what makes you unique.
- Build a better understanding of disabilities, helping you become more kind and inclusive in your everyday life.
- Learn how to set goals that matter to you, and figure out how to reach them using your own strengths.
This workshop is a safe and welcoming place where you can explore your identity and grow your confidence. You’ll leave feeling inspired, more aware of yourself and others, and ready to go after your personal and career goals!
Dinner will be provided and registration closes Wednesday, June 11th. Final details and confirmation will be emailed to those prior to the event.
