Party for a Purpose

Josh Wurster is a meteorologist at 7News in Boston. Originally from Wisconsin, Josh moved to Boston in 2018 and is proud to call the city home. He and 7News are longtime supporters of Best Buddies. This summer Josh completed his fourth Best Buddies Challenge, biking to Craigville Beach in Hyannisport. When he isn’t tracking winter nor’easters, Josh loves exploring everything New England has to offer — especially the outdoors and all four seasons, from skiing the Green Mountains in winter to hiking the White Mountains in fall and soaking up the summer sun on the Cape.

*Important Parking Notice* – Ride Sharing, carpooling, and public transportation is highly recommended. Parking is available in the lot at Great American Beer Hall and also along Mystic Avenue and side streets.

We are thrilled to host the 2025 Party for a Purpose to celebrate the vast accomplishments of our program participants and partners. This night of festivities, hosted at the new Great American Beer Hall in Medford, will include:
- Live program highlighting the successes of our program participants and partners
- A wide variety of hors d’oeuvres and treats as well as an open bar
- DJ and live entertainment
- Silent Auction
