Madison Calandriello is the kind of leader who turns passion into action and inclusion into impact. A longtime participant with Best Buddies Connecticut, Madison has been involved with the organization since 2021, building meaningful friendships and championing inclusion every step of the way. Today, she’s taking that commitment to new heights as the incredible Chapter President of Best Buddies at the University of Delaware.

Madison’s Best Buddies journey doesn’t stop at campus involvement. She has proudly represented both her high school and college at the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Indiana, gaining valuable skills, connections, and inspiration that she continues to bring back to her chapters. Her dedication to advocacy and growth shines through in everything she does.

One of Madison’s standout achievements includes running for Champion of the Year, where she worked tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for Best Buddies in Delaware. Through her efforts, she helped amplify the mission of inclusion while empowering others to get involved and make a difference.

Most recently, Madison secured grant funding for her chapter—an incredible accomplishment! This funding allows Best Buddies at the University of Delaware to host on-site training to ensure their leadership team is equipped to run the chapter as effectively and inclusively as possible. In addition, the grant provides support to send a member to the Best Buddies International Leadership Conference, expanding opportunities for learning and growth on a global level.

Whether she’s planning themed holiday events, organizing unforgettable Buddy Balls, or dreaming up new ways to bring people together, Madison is always working to create fun, inclusive experiences for everyone. Her chapter truly takes inclusion to the next level and it’s all thanks to her heart, leadership, and unstoppable drive.
