Best Buddies in Delaware was proud to attend the DFRC Blue-Gold All Star Football Game, a long-standing tradition that brings together athletes, families, and organizations from across the state in support of inclusion and opportunity for individuals with IDD. The event, hosted by DFRC, once again showcased the power of community partnerships and the impact of shared celebration.

The day began at 3:00 PM with engaging activities presented by Nemours Children’s Health, giving our participants a chance to enjoy interactive experiences, make crafts, and meet princesses in a welcoming environment. Best Buddies participants from across Delaware gathered together, excited to be part of such a meaningful event!

Following the activities, the Best Buddies group lined up for the annual parade. As a proud beneficiary of DFRC, members of Best Buddies Delaware had the honor of walking in the parade, waving to the crowd, and celebrating the strong partnership between the two organizations. Best Buddies in Delaware is so grateful for DFRC’s continued year-over-year support of our mission of inclusion and friendship.

After the parade, attendees made their way into the stadium to cheer on the Blue and Gold teams. The energy in the stands was high as familiar faces from Best Buddies chapters across the state came together to support the athletes and enjoy the game-day atmosphere. The sense of community and connection was felt throughout the entire event!
