Global Collaboration Brings Friendship and Creativity to the Forefront.
Miami, Florida, March 6, 2018 – The Miami Marlins held a special event in support of the Spread the Word to End the Word campaign during their Spring Training in Jupiter, Florida at the Roger Dean Stadium. A total of six individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities from Best Buddies International and Special Olympics were invited to participate in the special event.
Just a week or so ago, Best Buddies held a fund and awareness-raising event in Aspen, creating waves of genuine excitement that bode extremely well for the future of this terrific project in our community.
The beloved football manager, Best Buddies leader, and all-around team favorite continues to inspire the Centennial community through positivity, dedication, and heart.
Homecoming history was made recently at a San Bernardino high school. Two members of the Best Buddies club — a campus group of special-needs students — were crowned as the Homecoming king and queen.
