(BPT) - With unemployment rates at a nearly 50-year low, many businesses are struggling to find workers. This tight job market is opening doors for people with disabilities, as many companies are turning their attention to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Glenn Hiro is a role model for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or IDD. He’s also a role model for those who don’t.

David Quilleon, the senior vice president of global mission, state development and operations at Best Buddies International, and Hunter Huff, a Best Buddies Global Ambassador were guest speakers at the Franchising Friends for a Cause Conference hosted by the International Franchise Association on Jan. 25.
