BOSTON, June 5, 2018 – This year, over 2,500 people participated in the 19th Annual Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port, a cycling, run and walk fundraiser from Boston to Hyannis Port, on June 2-3. The Challenge raised $6 million in total donations for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we are excited to launch the organization’s newest program, Best Buddies Living. Best Buddies is elevating our mission to meet the significant need for inclusion by establishing a residential living experience for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their peers.

MGEN Renewables has formally partnered with Best Buddies Philippines to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), marking a new chapter in its corporate social responsibility and employee engagement efforts. The partnership was sealed through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing ceremony, signaling the launch of joint initiatives that aim to promote inclusion, empathy, and community involvement within the renewable energy firm.
