New York, New York \u2013 April 20, 2017 \u2013 Today, David Yurman, America\u2019s premier jewelry designer, announces its partnership with Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of 200 million people worldwide with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in honor of Mother’s Day, 2017.<\/p>\n
Best Buddies, founded by Anthony Shriver in 1989, seeks to establish a global volunteer movement and network that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, employment and leadership development for those individuals with IDD. Starting today until May 14th, 20% of all proceeds from David Yurman’s Solari bracelet will be donated to Best Buddies. This will include sales through David Yurman retail stores and DavidYurman.com.<\/p>\n
The affiliation will culminate with a celebratory brunch honoring the incredible mothers of Best Buddies and mothers all around the world. The brunch will be graciously hosted by Best Buddies Global Ambassador Cindy Crawford and her daughter, Kaia Gerber on May 13th in Malibu, California. David Yurman will proudly be the title sponsor of the event.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the brand will be hosting charitable shopping events at the Beverly Hills and Bal Harbour David Yurman retail locations during the month of May to continue to bring awareness to the cause.<\/p>\n
