Our hearts are heavy at the loss of one of Best Buddies Texas’ most fervent supporters. Dave Rojas, a.k.a. Downtown Dave, loved all things Houston, with one of those being Best Buddies. From his “Big Hat Posse” Friendship Walk Team, being a Celebrity in our Houston Gala & Fashion Show, to being a driving force in winning Champion of the Year for team “H-Town Posse” in 2020, Dave passionately advocated for our mission and participants. Even as he battled cancer, he was devoted to helping Best Buddies. Dave, thank you for so selflessly giving to others. You touched so many lives, always with a smile. You will be truly missed!
