The Long Island Masquerade Friendship Ball 2019

The Long Island Masquerade Friendship Ball 2019 was held at Longwood High School. This prom invites all members. Our buddy pairs attend in their favorite masks and danced the night away to show their support for Best Buddies. Longwood High School also had a sensory friendly room and movie theater set up to provide options to all individuals. We had over 350 students and faculty attend wearing their mask to fit the theme This event is so special in that it gives hundreds of teenagers with an intellectual disability the opportunity to experience a real high school formal, complete with the crowning of the Exceptional Buddy Pair from each school chapter.
