Human Illustration Movement with Sarah Greene
Monday, March 15th
4:00 pm ET
Sarah Greene is a current graduate student at Hunter College studying Dance Education (AGDEP program). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with honors in dance from Skidmore College. Greene could not imagine her life without dance. For over 15 years, movement has propelled every aspect of her being.
Greene realized that her previous experience teaching dance classes at Saratoga Bridges could be extremely impactful on a virtual platform. Human Illustration, born during the Covid-19 pandemic, is an online platform consisting of pre-recorded 45-minute dance classes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). HI offers a 12, 8, and 4-week program as well as live Zoom classes. Each class includes a warm-up, breakdowns of various basic ballet steps, and concludes with a short phrase of choreography. Human Illustration’s mission is to give all of its students a high-caliber experience that will allow them to reach their fullest potential and be proud of who they are.
