Project SEARCH Application announcement
Do you know any transition-aged students who are preparing to enter the workforce? Then please help us spread the word about Project SEARCH, an innovative school-to-work internship program that gives young adults with disabilities, ages 18-21, the opportunity to learn marketable job skills to help them gain employment.
Interns participate in a 9 month rotation at UNMH or Embassy Suites and receive job skills training and support from community rehabilitation providers and school staff. The intended outcome of the program is integrated employment for each participant.
Applications for our 2017/2018 cohort can be found at transitionservices.aps.edu under the Project SEARCH tab. Application deadline is February 3, 2017. For more information, contact Connie Fasanella at fasanella@aps.edu or (505) 872-6800 Ext 0.
