JaciLynn and Austin are in their second year of being paired up through Best Buddies, and their friendship is something truly special. In addition to hanging out on campus and at Best Buddies events, they also hang out outside of school every Wednesday.
Best Buddies Month is a time for Best Buddies participants to reflect on the importance of friendship, jobs, and the development of future leaders. Most importantly, it is a time to show the world the significance of these essentials in every individual’s life.
Beginning at sunrise and officially ending at sunset, the winners of each race category are crowned by the solo individual or team who completed the highest distance total, celebrating those who pushed themselves to their limits in a day full of honoring those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
