Conference Rules and Saftey
In order to maintain a safe and positive environment at Best Buddies Leadership Conference, we require that all attendees follow the guidelines below:
All attendees are required to stay on campus at all times.
Any attendee that leaves the Indiana University campus will be sent home at their own expense and will no longer be able to lead or participate in the Best Buddies chapter at their school.
All attendees are prohibited from the use of alcohol or any drugs.
Attendees (including those over the age of 21) using alcohol or drugs will be sent home at their own expense and will no longer be able to lead or participate in the Best Buddies chapter at their school.
Students under the legal age of 18 are prohibited from using tobacco products.
Students in violation of this law will be sent home at their own expense.
Middle and high school students are required to be on their dorm floor no later than 11:30pm every evening.
Best Buddies staff will be conducting room checks throughout the evening.
Middle and high school students must remain on their dorm floor between the hours of 12am and 7am.
Students are prohibited from visiting the opposite gender specific halls, rooms and floors at all times.
Students are required to attend all sessions unless excused by a Best Buddies staff member.
Cell phones should be turned to silent during all sessions.
