HOW TO REGISTER 

Step 1:
Register Online

All conference attendees must register by June 15, 2018. If you have questions regarding conference registration, please contact your Best Buddies staff contact for more information.

Step 2:
Submit Consent

All attendees must submit a consent form signed by you (and your parent/guardian, if applicable). When registering online, you will be prompted to submit consent.  If you can’t submit consent at that time, you can submit it later here:

Using the online form is strongly recommended for all attendees. For users who are unable to submit the online form, a printable consent form can be downloaded here. Printable consent forms must be completely filled out and turned in to your Best Buddies staff contact.

Step 3:
Submit Fee (If Applicable)

The chapter president from each college, high school, and promoter chapter does not pay the BBLC fee. The cost of attending for these students is covered by chapter dues. All attendees NOT covered by chapter dues (e.g. chapter officers, advisors*, ambassadors, jobs, and middle school attendees) must pay the BBLC fee.

The standard BBLC 2018 fee is $350.

*Note: the BBLC fee for advisors claiming contact hour certificates for participation in the advisor track is $650.

Step 4:
Fundraise! (Optional)

All BBLC attendees have access to powerful social fundraising tools to help cover BBLC fees and travel costs. Set up your page and start fundraising!

REGISTRATION FEE

Refunds, less a $75 cancellation fee per registrant, will be granted for requests received in writing by July 1, 2018. Refunds will not be granted after this date. No-shows are responsible for full payment. All refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing and should be sent to leadershipconference@bestbuddies.org for processing. The cancellation fee cannot be waived.

Please contact your Best Buddies staff contact and/or state office to learn more about registration fee payment options and the process for submitting payment.

*The fee schedule above does not apply to international participants. For the international participant fee schedule, please contact Yelba Gutierrez at YelbaGutierrez@bestbuddies.org. Advisory board and walk committee chairs should refer to the state director regarding their cost for attending BBLC.

Please note: These registration fees do not cover the cost of travel to Indiana University.  All attendees are responsible for raising their own travel costs.

Payment 

There are three main ways to submit payment for your Best Buddies Leadership Conference (BBLC) registration fees (as a reminder, conference fees for HS and college chapter presidents are covered by chapters dues, which are separate from the forms below).  Note: Do not send cash in the mail – Best Buddies is not responsible for funds lost in transit.

By Check or Money Order

Please make all checks payable to Best Buddies.  If you are paying by check or money order, please send the payment to your local Best Buddies office.  Please be advised that Best Buddies is not responsible for checks lost or delayed in the mail.

By Credit Card

If you wish to pay your BBLC fee via credit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.

Through Online Fundraising

If you are raising funds for your BBLC fee through the BBLC Fundraising Thon, your fee is automatically collected by Best Buddies.  Once you have reached the correct BBLC fee amount, contact your Best Buddies staff contact to confirm that we have received the funds.
