THERE IS NO CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.


A contribution will not improve your chances of winning. 

See Paragraph (3) for how to enter on-line without a contribution or text message.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

(1) Overview - Best Buddies International, Inc. (the "Sponsor"), a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is conducting the Holiday Fundraiser (the "Promotion") to raise funds to further its work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The promotion starts on December 14, 2009 and ends on January 5, 2010 ("Promotion Period"). By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promotion Entities (defined below), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes.

(2) Eligibility - The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older as of December 1, 2009. Employees, officers and directors of Best Buddies International, Inc., Give on the Go LLC and their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, (collectively "Promotion Entities") their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Void in Puerto Rico, all other U.S. territories and where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

(3) How to Enter - There are two (2) ways to enter: (1) Via text message with $10 contribution (Your "Text Message Contribution Entry") - From a mobile phone, text the word "BUDDIES" to the short code 501501 and reply with "Yes" when prompted to make a $10 contribution to Best Buddies International to complete your entry. Receive one (1) automatic entry for each $10 contribution up to a maximum of five (5) Text Message Contribution Entries. (2) Via FREE email registration - Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the Subject line message of Holiday.  You will have the option to elect to receive e-mail and mobile messages from Best Buddies International, however electing to receive such communication is not a required for entry, nor does it improve your chances of winning. You can enter via either method, but the total number of entries, by Text Message Contribution or Email is limited to (5) entries per person in aggregate. 

(4) Important Information About Your Text Message Contribution Entry -

·Your mobile phone must be capable of sending and receiving text messages and your wireless service provider may charge you for each text message sent and received in conjunction with this Promotion. Some wireless service providers may not participate in this Promotion. You should consult your plan's features and pricing before deciding to make a Text Message Contribution Entry in the Promotion.   

·A one-time donation of $10 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Messaging & Data Rates May Apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Service is available on most carriers. Donations are collected for the benefit of Best Buddies International by the Mobile Giving Foundation and subject to the terms found at www.hmgf.org/t. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to short code 501501. Reply HELP to 501501 for help. 

·If you chose to make a Text Message Contribution Entry, your wireless service provider will charge your account with $10 plus any applicable message and data costs associated with your plan. Of your contribution 85% is donated to support mentor and job placement programs at Best Buddies International, while 15% is used to support operational costs.

·By making a Text Message Contribution Entry you are giving your permission to receive future mobile communications from Best Buddies International. You will however, be able to "opt out" at any time in any subsequent mobile communication by texting "STOP" to short code 501501.       

(5) Prizes – Two (2) VIP entries to one (1) Best Buddies International national event in 2010, including the Audi Best Buddies Challenges, Leadership Conference, Best Buddies Miami Gala, Hamptons Beach Bash or the Palm Beach Gala. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $3,000. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

(6) Source of Funds for the Award of Prizes - All prizes are donated by Best Buddies International for its use as prizes in this Promotion.

(7) Winner Selection and Prize Awarding - Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received on January 5, 2010.  The potential winners will be contacted on January 5, 2010 by the e-mail address and/or mobile phone number associated with their entry, ("Prize Notification").  Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's name, statements, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, as Sponsor so determines without notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.

(8) General - Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the mobile phone number or email address submitted at time of entry. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned a wireless phone number by the wireless service provider or email address account holder assigned by an Internet Service Provider. A potential winner may be required to provide Sponsors with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the wireless phone number or email address associated with a potentially winning entry. Entries generated by forwarding notification, a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same wireless phone number or email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using duplicitous entry methods or the use of multiple identities will void that entrant's entries. Entries that are incomplete, contain irregular or invalid information, or are corrupted are void and will not be accepted. By entering the Promotion, you agree to all of the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy, available at: http://www.bestbuddies.org/best-buddies/privacy-policy. No prize recipient shall be permitted to:

(a) replace his/her designated prize with another prize (b) redeem the prize for cash; (c) transfer or assign his/her designated prize to another person. Promotion entities reserve the right, exercisable at any time in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All decisions of the Sponsors in any matter relating to this Promotion shall be binding and final. Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, illegible or garbled entries, text messages or emails; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, wireless service provider or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed wireless transmissions, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Promotion-related materials. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotion or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Promotion be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
